Coorg is one of the areas with heavy rainfall in India. It is the largest coffee growing country in India. Drinking a good coffee amidst the greenery is nothing short of a paradise for a coffee lover. In addition to the coffee tree, you will also find tea gardens, orange orchards. There are many good places to visit in Kurg such as Talakaveri, Nisarg Dham, Iruppu Water Fall, Bhagmandala, Dubare, Abbe Water Fall, and Nagarhole National Park etc. Pushpagiri and Brahmagiri are very famous for trekking here.

To reach Kurg, you can go by air, rail and road. If you want to travel here by air, then you have Mangalore domestic airport about 160 kilometers from here, while the second international airport is from Bangalore, which is about 265 kilometers from here.

If you want to travel here by train, then Mysore railway station of Karnataka is the nearest from here. You can travel by rail to Mysore, after that you get comfortable vehicles to go from here. The distance of Mysore station is about 95 kilometers from here. From Bangalore you can either drive by yourself or you can go by bus.
